About PromoGuinée
PromoGuinée is a non-profit organization founded in 2006 by a group of former high school classmates from Guinea.
Our main focus
is on Education as we understand that in order to eradicate poverty, Education must be at the forth front of the issues to be tackled.
Furthermore, We believe that a nation's socio-economic development requires an educated citizenry.
Whether it is
educating people in hygiene and other health related issues, teaching rural citizens how to improve their agricultural
production and in micro financing, helping the less fortunate yet highly talented complete their studies, PromoGuinée is fully
invested in achieving its ultimate goal: That of improving the quality of life of Guineans through Education.
Since 2006, we have successfully funded the education of 15 students. Some of our students, based on their scholastic
performances, have benefited from government scholarships and gone on to continue their studies in Morocco.
We have helped futur
engineers, doctors pursuit their academic goals. We continuously monitor them and remind them of their duties as Guinean citizens.
As a small organization looking to expand, we are now on the ground doing research as to how we can improve other aspects of the
Education in Guinea.
In today's " Global World ", it is in everyone's interest to see individuals accross the globe become educated.
